Installation Work: Installation of any auto glass product (except sunroofs and rear sliders) is guaranteed against installation defects for as long as you own or lease your vehicle, so long as such installation defects are brought to the attention of Farrell’s Glass within 30 days of invoice date. In order to exercise your rights under this warranty, we will require evidence of installation by Farrell’s Glass, such as a copy of the invoice.
Product Warranty: Auto glass products (except sunroofs and rear sliders) are guaranteed for ninety (90) days from date of invoice.
Exclusions: This warranty does not cover leaks, stress cracks, accidents, theft, acts of God, self-inflicted damage or related damage in connection with installations to vehicles having damage or rust on the pinchweld. Farrell’s Glass will use commercially reasonable efforts to advise you of the existence of such damage or rust prior to removal of existing glass; however, it is often not possible to do this. In these cases, Farrell’s Glass is not responsible for any associated damage. In addition, damage not involving defective workmanship or materials is expressly excluded from coverage under this warranty. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE MANUFACTURER OR VENDOR BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
Windshield Repair
Windshield repair work is guaranteed for as long as you own or lease your vehicle. In some cases, the attempt to repair a windshield can result in the chip or crack becoming larger, and we are not responsible for such damage. If the repair on the originally damaged portion of the windshield cracks again in the same spot, we will credit the amount of the original repair against the windshield replacement cost where the replacement work is performed by Farrell’s Glass. If the vehicle is insured by a comprehensive insurance policy, you must pay the deductible portion of your policy. This warranty applies as long as you own or lease the vehicle on which the repair was made and is not transferable.
If you are dissatisfied with the repair, we will credit the cost of repair toward replacement. If your insurance company paid for the repair, the insurance company will receive credit. We guarantee that the repaired portion of the windshield will not crack further and that the repair will pass any state vehicle inspection, or we will credit the cost of repair toward replacement.
Sunroofs and Rear Sliders
Installation Work: Installation of sunroofs and rear sliders is guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of installation, except where damage occurs due to vandalism, accidents, theft, acts of God, or self inflicted damage and except leakage due to body deterioration.
Product Warranty: The original manufacturer’s warranty (including any restrictions and guidelines applicable to the warranty) shall apply to all defects in material and workmanship that would render this product unfit for its normal and recommended use and service, except damage due to vandalism, accidents, theft, acts of God, or self inflicted damage and except leakage due to body deterioration. The manufacturer’s warranty is subject to a visual inspection to verify validity of claim.
Mirrors, Mirror Doors, Shower and Tub Enclosures
Installation Work: Installation of mirrors, mirror doors, shower and tub enclosures is guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of installation, except where damage occurs due to vandalism, accidents, theft, acts of God, or self inflicted damage.
Product Warranty: The original manufacturer’s warranty (including any restrictions and guidelines applicable to the warranty) shall apply to all defects in material and workmanship that would render this product unfit for its normal and recommended use and service, except damage due to vandalism, accidents, theft, acts of God, or self inflicted damage. The manufacturer’s warranty is subject to a visual inspection to verify validity of claim.
Single Glazing
Installation Work: Installation of any single pane window glass replacement is guaranteed for ninety (90) days from the date of installation, except where damage is due to vandalism, accidents, theft, acts of God, or self inflicted damage and except leakage due to body deterioration.
Insulated Glass (Ig) Units: Residential
Installation Work: Installation of IG residential units is guaranteed to be installed to manufacturer’s specifications for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of installation.
Product Warranty: The original manufacturer’s warranty (including all restrictions and guidelines applicable to the warranty) applies to all defects in material and workmanship. For any seal failures during the manufacturer’s warranty period, the original manufacturer will replace the IG Unit, however, labor is not included and will be charged at the standard hourly rate.
The warranties provided by Farrell’s Glass and by the original manufacturer do not apply to any IG unit installed over 15 degrees from vertical and are offered only to the original homeowner of a single family residence and may not be transferred or assigned.
Vinyl Retrofit Windows: The original manufacturer’s warranty (including all restrictions and guidelines applicable to the warranty) applies to all defects in material and workmanship. Farrell’s Glass provides a ninety (90) day guarantee on installation workmanship.
The manufacturer’s warranty is subject to a visual inspection to verify validity of claim.
Insulated Glass (Ig) Units: Commercial
Installation Work: Installation of IG commercial units are guaranteed to be installed to manufacturer’s specifications for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of installation.
Product Warranty: The original manufacturer’s warranty (including all restrictions and guidelines applicable to the warranty) applies to all defects in material and workmanship and provides a two (2) year warranty against seal failure from the date of original installation. For any such seal failures during the warranty period, the original manufacturer will replace the IG unit, however, labor is not included and will be charged at the standard hourly rate. The warranties provided by Farrell’s Glass and by the original manufacturer do not apply to any IG unit installed over 15 degrees from vertical and may not be transferred or assigned.
Door Closures: Door closures are warranted for ninety (90) days from the date of installation except damage caused by vandalism, accidents, theft, acts of God, or self-inflicted damage, abuse or use beyond what is considered reasonable by the original manufacturer.
The manufacturer’s warranty is subject to a visual inspection to verify validity of claim.
